Terms and Conditions of Use
| Please make sure that you have read LIFEmee’s terms and conditions of Use carefully. Once you have created a LIFEmee account you have agreed to and understand all the terms and conditions listed in this section. By using or signing in to LIFEmee, you agree to the statements below: |
| The only information needed to use LIFEmee.com is a valid email address, password and zip code. We don’t need your name or any personally identifiable information. With regards to your banking and investment information we only ask for your most basic banking information. For example, your bank name, type account and amount of money that is deposited. This is only to help in building your assets portfolio. Any other banking information is NOT required. We understand the concerns of our LIFEmee users in regards to privacy and security and we feel that the best way to put our users at ease is by giving them a choice of the type of information they want released. We only ask for the most basic information that will help protect yourself as well as your family and friends. |
| 1.) Privacy |
| Your privacy is of the upmost importance to us. We created a Privacy details section to explain to you about how we store, protect and use the information you add on your LIFEMee profile. Please read the Privacy details page carefully to help you understand LIFEmee and protect your personal information. |
| 2.) Sharing Your Profile Information |
Since you are the owner of all of your content and personal information you post on LIFEmee, you have the right to control what contents you would like to release to the public through your privacy settings. In order for us to use certain types of content and provide you with LIFEmee, you agree to the following: a.) For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos ("IP content"), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with LIFEmee ("IP License"). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account (except to the extent your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it). b.) When you delete IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying your recycle bin in your computer. But please understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others). c.) We are always open to your feedback and suggestions about LIFEmee. This is how we will make LIFEmee even better and more suited for you. But please understand that even if may use your suggestions, we do not have any obligation to compensate you for them. Of course we appreciate your help and feedback and we want to do everything to make LIFEmee more useful to you. |
| 3.) Safety |
| We try our very best to make sure LIFEmee is perfectly safe for you. Even though we try our best, we still can’t guarantee 100% safety. We need your help to do that. Below is a list of important things to follow in order to guarantee everyone’s safety on LIFEmee: a.) Do not send or otherwise post unauthorized commercial communications or advertisements to users (For example, NO spam). b.) Do not collect users' information, or otherwise access LIFEmee, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our permission. c.) Do not upload viruses or other malicious code. d.) Do not solicit login information or illegally access an account belonging to someone else. e.) Do not bully, intimidate, stalk and harass any user. f.) Do not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, discriminatory, or that contains nudity or graphic violence. g.) Do not use LIFEmee to do anything unlawful, misleading, or malicious. h.) Do not facilitate or encourage any violations of this Statement. |
| 4.) Registration and Account Security |
| a. )Make sure you provide your correct email address and ZIP code when you register. Do not create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission. b.) Do not use LIFEmee if you are under 18, unless you have parental consent. c.) Do not use LIFEmee if you are located in a country embargoed by the U.S., or are on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals. d.) Do not use LIFEmee if you are a convicted sex offender. e.) Please keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date. f.) Do not share your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account. e.) Do not transfer your account to anyone without first getting our written permission. |
| 5.) Protecting Other People's Rights |
| We respect other people's rights, and expect you to do the same. a.) Do not post content or take any action on LIFEmee that infringes someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law. b.) We have the right to remove any content you post on LIFEmee if we believe that it violates this Statement. c.) If we removed your content for infringing someone else's copyright, and you believe we removed it by mistake, we will provide you with a chance to appeal it by emailing us. d.) If you repeatedly infringe other people's intellectual property rights, we will disable your account when appropriate. e.) Do not use our copyrights or trademarks (such as LIFEmee, and the LIFEmee Logo) without our written permission. f.) Do not post anyone's identification documents or any other form of private information on your LIFEmee account. |
| 6.) Mobile |
| a.) In the future we intend to provide free mobile LIFEmee services, but please be aware that your carrier's normal rates and fees, such as text messaging or transmission fees will still apply. b.) In the event you change or deactivate your mobile telephone number, you should update your account information on LIFEmee within 48 hours to make sure that your messages are not sent to the wrong person. |
| 7.) Payments |
| When making purchases from LIFEmee, please make sure you agree to our Payments Terms. |
| 8.) Advertising on LIFEmee |
We at LIFEmee would like to provide our users with ads valuable to the advertisers and most importantly valuable to you. a.) You can use your privacy settings to limit how your name and profile picture may be associated with commercial or sponsored content. You can give us permission to use your name and profile picture in connection with that content, depending on what limitations you have placed. |
| 9.) Amendments |
| a.) We have the right to change our Terms and Conditions of Use Statement as long as we provide our LIFEmee users and an opportunity to comment and provide us with their feedback. b.) If a large majority of LIFEmee users are unhappy with a proposed change, we will give you the opportunity to participate in a vote in which you will be provided with alternative choices. We will base the final decision on the vote of the majority. d.) We have the right to make changes for legal or administrative reasons upon notice without opportunity to comment. |
| 10.) Termination |
| If you violate the terms and conditions in this Statement, or otherwise create possible legal exposure for us, we can stop providing all or part of LIFEmee to you. We will generally try to notify you, but have no obligation to do so. You also have a choice of deleting your account or disabling your application at any time. |
| 11.) Googlemap |
To determine the approximate location of where you are using LIFEmee, we need to use the Googlemap API to pinpoint your IP address. If you decide to publically release your address in your Profile page, then the accuracy of your location increases greatly and a LIFEmee icon will appear to mark your location according to your address. LIFEmee will not misuse your address or IP address in any way to make a profit or sell your information. We are only using it to mark your location with a LIFEmee icon. It is absolutely prohibited for any hackers to break into our system and scrape information. But we warn you to think carefully before publicly releasing your address because in the rare case that a hacker does infiltrate your profile page, LIFEmee is not legally held responsible for any private information that is stolen or leaked. |
